Best Google Photos Alternative India 2026 - Family Photo Sharing Compared
2026-01-01 · English · Blog post
Piktures comes twelfth and last in this guide to Google Photos alternatives for Indian users, which is published by the team behind the competing Memoria app. The guide labels Piktures the best replacement for the Android gallery, gives it four out of five stars for privacy, and lists it as free without cloud storage, with Premium at roughly ₹185 a year. Its listed strengths are a strong gallery replacement on Android, photos kept on the device with no cloud account needed, good face detection and calendar organisation, smooth handling of large libraries, and a free tier that works fully without the cloud. On the other side, it notes that Piktures has no backup service of its own, no iPhone version, no family sharing and no data residency in India. The verdict: an excellent choice for Android power users who want better organisation, but not a complete Google Photos substitute on its own because it lacks backup.
