Create a PDF
Start a PDF
Open More → Create → Create PDF, then pick your photos. There's no maximum.
Organize the photos
- The photos go into sections. Type a name for a section, or leave it empty for no title. Add section adds one at the end, and each section starts on a new page of the PDF.
- In a section header, the add-photo icon adds photos to it, and the trash icon removes the section.
- On a photo:
- the pencil shows Add a title, printed above the photo, and Add a caption, printed below it;
- long-press the six-dot handle and drag to change the order, within the section;
- the trash icon removes the photo from the PDF. Nothing is deleted from your phone.
The PDF options
Tap ⋮ at the top right. The PREVIEW shows the first pages. Your options are kept for the next PDF.
- LAYOUT: 1 / page, 2 / page, 4 / page (the default), or 6 / page. Photos are never cropped.
- PAGE FORMAT: A4, Letter, or Auto image, which follows the shape of the photos.
- ORIENTATION: Auto, Portrait, or Landscape.
- MARGINS: None, Small, or Medium.
- QUALITY: Small file, Standard, or High quality. Higher quality makes a larger file.
- SECTION, TITLE, and DESCRIPTION: the color, font, size, and alignment of the texts.
- PAGE NUMBERS, PHOTO DATE, and LOCATION: page numbers at the bottom right, and the date and the city on each photo, when Piktures knows them.
Save or share
- Save creates the PDF in your phone's Download folder, with a name that starts with
Piktures_pdf_followed by the date and time. Then Open, Share, Save to... (to put a copy somewhere else), or New PDF. - Share creates the PDF in Download too, then opens Android's share menu.
Leaving before saving asks Discard your work?: your photos, titles, and captions aren't kept.
Creating a PDF is free. Without a paid plan, ads show at the bottom of the screen and while the PDF is created.
