Profiles

A profile is a small card, with a photo, a title, and a description, that Piktures draws on the photos and videos you share. Your profiles are saved on your phone only.

Create a profile

1. Open More → Create → Profile. The first time, the editor opens. After that, the Profiles list opens: tap + at the top right.
2. Set up the card in the Layout, Photo, and Text tabs. The preview at the top shows the result.
3. Tap SAVE, type a name in Profile Name, and tap Save.

A new profile starts with a sample portrait, the title Sarah Jenkins, and the description Product Designer: replace all three. Fill in both the title and the description: when one is empty, Piktures puts the sample text back when you save.

The tabs

• Layout: where the card goes on the photo (6 positions), where the text goes next to the photo (left, below, or right), the PADDING, and the SIZE of the card. The bottom right position needs Premium or Prime.
• Photo: tap the photo area to choose a photo, then pinch to zoom and drag to move it. Set the PHOTO SIZE, the ASPECT RATIO, the SHAPE or the CORNER RADIUS, and a BORDER.
• Text: the TITLE and the DESCRIPTION, each with its color, font, and size, a BACKGROUND behind the text, and the TEXT ALIGNMENT.

Use a profile when you share

On the Before sharing screen, tap a profile under YOUR PROFILES. + Add profile creates one on the spot and selects it. See Sharing options.

Without Premium or Prime, a Made by Piktures mark is added at the bottom right of the shared photos. In the editor, Remove Piktures branding shows it needs Premium or Prime.

Edit or delete a profile

In More → Create → Profile, tap a profile to edit it. Tap its trash icon, then Delete, to delete it.

Without a paid plan, ads show in the profile editor and after you save.
