Sharing options
When you share from the viewer or from a selection, Piktures first shows Before sharing, with the number of photos and videos. Choose your options, then tap SHARE to open Android's share menu. Go back to cancel.
Your profiles
YOUR PROFILES lists your profiles, small cards with a photo, a title, and a description. Tap one to add its card to everything you share, and tap it again to remove it. + Add profile creates a new one: see Profiles.
Without Premium or Prime, a Made by Piktures mark is added at the bottom right when you use a profile.
Quality
- Social makes smaller files for social apps. Photos may be cropped to the usual formats of social apps. It's selected each time the screen opens.
- Story makes vertical 9:16 images and videos, 1080 × 1920. A photo that doesn't fit is placed on a blurred copy of itself. Videos are cropped to fill the screen.
- Small, Medium, and Original keep the whole picture, at a smaller size or at full size.
The sizes shown are estimates.
Advanced
Tap ADVANCED to open it:
- Remove location, for photos, removes the location. On JPEG photos, it also removes the date and the camera details. With Social or Story, no photo information is kept at all.
- Remove sound, for videos.
- Speed x3, for videos, makes them play three times faster, so they're three times shorter.
- Save choice remembers your quality (Social, Story, or Original), your options, and your profile, and skips this screen next time. This needs Premium or Prime. To see the screen again, go to More → Settings → SHARE → Reset user choices.
Share without this screen
Turn off More → Personalisation → Paid options → Resize on share to share your files as they are. Turning it off needs Premium or Prime (also included in the former Plus plan).
What is shared
Piktures shares a temporary copy: the originals aren't changed, and nothing is added to your albums. Photos and videos from a cloud are downloaded first.
