Favorites wallpaper
Piktures can change your phone's wallpaper regularly with a random photo from your Favorites. This needs Premium or Prime: without it, Wallpaper Settings only shows For premium users.
Turn it on
- In the Albums tab, open Favorites.
- Tap ⋮, then Wallpaper Settings.
- Under Screens, choose Home screen, Lock screen, or both. With both, Different image for lock and home screens puts a different photo on each.
- Choose the Frequency: 15mn, 2h, 12h, or 24h (the default).
- Tap Save.
Piktures sets a new wallpaper right away, and shows Wallpaper updates enabled. If Favorites has no photo, it shows No favorite photos found, and nothing is turned on.
How it works
- Piktures picks a random photo from Favorites, never a video. The same photo can come back.
- The photo is cropped automatically to the screen, from its center.
- The changes happen about every interval: Android may delay them to save battery.
- If your plan ends, the wallpaper stops changing.
Stop it
There's no stop button. Open Wallpaper Settings, turn off both Home screen and Lock screen, and tap Save: Piktures shows Wallpaper updates stopped. Your current wallpaper stays.
Choosing another wallpaper in Android's settings doesn't stop Piktures: the next change replaces it.
