Piktures is not associated with Nextcloud. It reaches your Nextcloud server through WebDAV.

Add your Nextcloud

  1. In the Storage tab, under ADD A NEW ACCESS, tap Nextcloud, then GET STARTED.
  2. In Host:Port, type the address of your server, such as cloud.example.com. Piktures adds https:// itself.
  3. Type the Login and Password of your Nextcloud account.
  4. Tap Sign in or register.

Piktures connects to https://<your server>/remote.php/dav/files/<your login>/. It keeps your login details on the phone.

If it doesn't connect

  • This URL is invalid: the address starts with http:. Piktures only connects over HTTPS.
  • There is an SSL error: the server's security certificate was refused.
  • This access already exists: this account is already added.
  • Login failed: check the address, the login, and the password.

Limits

In a Nextcloud album, the Mosaic display isn't offered, and Sort by offers every order except Date.
