Moving photos to the SD card

To put photos on the SD card, create an album there, then move or copy photos into it. The album is a folder inside Pictures on the SD card.

Create an album on the SD card

From the Albums tab:

1. Tap + at the top.
2. In Enter album name, type a name, choose SD card in the list, and tap OK.
3. Pick the photos to move into the new album.

Or while you move or copy photos:

1. Select photos, then tap the move icon, or ⋮ → Move or Copy.
2. In Select destination, tap New album.
3. Type a name, choose SD card in the list, and tap OK.

The Internal storage / SD card list only appears when the phone has an SD card.

Android may ask you to let Piktures manage your media, or to choose the folder to give it access to. Allow it.

Move photos to an album on the SD card

Select the photos, tap the move icon, or ⋮ → Move or Copy, then tap the album in Select destination. The photos go there right away.
