Thumbnails
Piktures keeps the thumbnails of your photos in its cache, so that albums open quickly, on the phone as on your clouds.
- More → Settings → PHOTO → Thumbnail quality sets their quality: Low (faster), Medium (the default), or High (slower). Lower quality takes less space.
- More → Settings → DEBUG → Clear cache deletes thumbnails, and Piktures rebuilds them as you browse. Piktures closes when it's done: open it again.
After you change Thumbnail quality, use Clear cache so that the existing thumbnails are rebuilt too.
The Secret Space
The photos and videos of the Secret Space are stored in Piktures' own storage, so they count in the space Android shows for Piktures. See The Secret Space.
Deleted items
A deleted photo goes to Deleted items and keeps taking space until the trash is emptied. To free the space, open Deleted items, tap ⋮, then Delete all items. See Special albums.
To delete photos for good right away, turn off More → Settings → RECYCLE BIN → Recycle bin.
Smart Cleanup
More → Create → Smart Cleanup helps you find photos and videos to delete. Some of its categories need Premium or Prime. See Smart Cleanup.
