Special albums
Besides your folders, the phone's Albums tab has a few special albums. When you start using Piktures, most of them are in your bookmarks.
All
Every photo and video of the phone, except the albums you have hidden and the folders you have excluded. By default, the most recently changed items come first.
Favorites
The photos and videos you have marked with the star, in the viewer or with Add to favorites in the ⋮ menu of a selection.
In the Favorites album, ⋮ → Wallpaper Settings sets your favorite photos as the phone's wallpaper. This needs Premium or Prime. See Favorites wallpaper.
QR Codes
Each time you scan a QR code with Scan QR Code, the photo of the code is saved here. Open it to see the code's details again. See QR Code.
A photo deleted from QR Codes is deleted for good: it doesn't go to Deleted items.
Deleted items
The photos and videos you have deleted from the phone, kept in Android's trash so you can get them back:
- to get items back, select them, tap ⋮, then Restore;
- to empty the trash, tap ⋮, then Delete all items.
Deleted items only works for the photos on the phone, not for the Secret Space, a cloud, or a USB drive. It can be turned off in More → Settings → RECYCLE BIN: when Recycle bin is off, a deleted photo is deleted for good. See Settings reference.
When you move photos from the phone to a cloud or a network drive, the phone's copies also land here: see Copy and move between drives.
Camera, Download, and Screenshots
The phone's own folders for the photos you take, the files you download, and your screenshots. They only appear when they contain photos or videos.
Explorer
Explorer lets you browse the phone's whole folder tree, starting from the root of its storage. Opening it needs Premium or Prime (also included in the former Plus plan). See Albums list display and folder view.
Smart albums
A smart album is a search you have saved: it shows the photos that match your filters. To create one, search, set your filters, and tap the save icon. This needs Premium or Prime.
Smart albums are listed in the SMART ALBUMS section. Renaming one changes only its name, and Delete album (Doesn't delete its content) removes the search, not the photos.
