Album groups
A group gathers several albums under one card, in the Group section of the Albums tab, between SMART ALBUMS and ALBUMS. It only exists in Piktures: the folders and files on the phone don't change.
Groups work for the phone's albums, when Sub-folder view is off. They aren't available in the Secret Space, on a cloud, on a network drive, or on a USB drive.
Create a group
- In the ALBUMS section, long-press an album and drag it onto another album.
- In Name this group, type a name and tap OK.
To add another album to the group, long-press it in ALBUMS and drop it on the group. An album can only be in one group.
Only the albums of the ALBUMS section can be grouped: not your bookmarks, and not special albums such as All, Favorites, QR Codes, Deleted items, or Explorer.
Open a group
Tap the group: its albums are listed under its name. Tap an album to open it. To close the group, tap ✕ on the right of its name.
Take albums out of a group
- Open the group and long-press an album. Tap others to select them too.
- Tap Remove at the bottom.
The albums go back to ALBUMS.
A group can't be renamed or deleted. When only one album is left in it, the group disappears and the album goes back to ALBUMS. To delete a group, remove its albums. To rename it, remove its albums and create it again.
Sort the groups
The sort icon on the right of Group offers Alphabetical and Manual. With Manual, long-press a group and drag it, then tap ✕. See Sorting the list of albums.
The magnifier of the Albums tab also finds a group by its name or by the name of one of its albums.
