Forgot your PIN code
After 3 wrong PINs
Piktures checks the PIN as soon as you type the 4th digit. When it's wrong, the dots shake and you can try again.
After 3 wrong PINs, Piktures shows Please wait and a 3-minute countdown. You can't type a PIN until it ends.
Choose a new PIN with your security question
Forgot PIN code only appears during the 3-minute wait.
- In the Storage tab, tap Secret Space, and type a wrong PIN 3 times.
- During the countdown, tap Forgot PIN code.
- PIN code recovery shows the security question you chose. Type your answer in Your Answer and tap Submit.
- Create a new 4-digit PIN, then type it again to confirm it.
The Secret Space opens with your new PIN. Your security question stays the same.
Type the answer exactly as when you set it up, with the same capital letters and the same spaces. You can try as many times as you need. If you close the screen before creating the new PIN, your old PIN stays valid.
If your phone's biometric unlock still works
When Piktures offers your phone's biometric unlock on the PIN screen, you can use it to open the Secret Space, then change the PIN:
- Open the Secret Space with your biometric unlock.
- Tap ⋮ at the top of the Albums tab, then Change PIN code.
- Confirm with your biometric unlock, then create a new PIN.

If you set up the Secret Space with an older version
Piktures no longer recovers a PIN by e-mail. If you set up the Secret Space with an older version of Piktures, it asks you to choose a security question the first time you open it.
If you've lost both your PIN and your answer
Piktures has no other way to reset the PIN. The Secret Space doesn't rely on any server, so we can't reset your PIN remotely. To use the Secret Space again, you have to clear Piktures' data or reinstall it, which erases the Secret Space and its files.
