Secret Space options

Open the Secret Space, then tap ⋮ at the top of the Albums tab. The Secret Space menu has two sections:

SETTINGS: Change PIN code, Manage albums visibility and bookmarks, Export secret files, Import secret files, and Delete.
PREMIUM OPTIONS: PIN code only and Hide from menu. They need Premium or Prime.

Biometric unlock

When you open the Secret Space, Piktures offers your phone's biometric unlock on top of the PIN screen: Would you like to log in with biometric authentication? Tap Use pin code to type your PIN instead. It's only offered when biometric unlock is set up on the phone.

PIN code only

Turn on PIN code only so that only the PIN opens the Secret Space, without the biometric unlock. This needs Premium or Prime.

Hide from menu hides the Secret Space from anyone browsing Piktures. This needs Premium or Prime. When you turn it on, Piktures explains how to open the Secret Space again: tap I understand to confirm. It then hides:

the Secret Space tile of the Storage tab;
Move to Secret in the ⋮ menu of a selection;
the Secret Space from the destinations when you move or copy photos.

Move to Secret stays in the ⋮ menu of the photo viewer.

To open the hidden Secret Space, tap the Storage title, at the top of the Storage tab, three times quickly. The phone vibrates, and Piktures asks for your PIN. The explanation in the app mentions an "Access" title: it's the Storage title.

When the Secret Space locks again

The Secret Space stays open while you use Piktures, even when you switch tabs or leave the app for a moment. There's no automatic lock after a delay. It asks for your PIN again when you open another storage in the Storage tab, or when Piktures is closed and opened again.

To lock it right away, tap This phone in the Storage tab.

Take a photo straight into the Secret Space

Open a secret album, tap ⋮, then Take a photo or Record a video. Piktures puts the photo or video straight into the secret album you're in.

Take photos out

In the Secret Space, select the photos.
Tap the move icon, or ⋮ → Move.
In Select destination, tap an album, then Move here.

The photos leave the Secret Space and go into that album.

Change your PIN code

Tap Change PIN code, type your current PIN or use your biometric unlock, then type the new PIN twice. Piktures confirms with Your PIN code has been changed. Your security question stays the same. If you forgot your PIN, see Forgot your PIN code.

Albums, export, and import

Manage albums visibility and bookmarks hides or bookmarks secret albums: see Hide and unhide albums.
Export secret files and Import secret files save and restore your Secret Space: see Back up your Secret Space.

Delete the Secret Space

Tap Delete, then DELETE. Piktures deletes every photo and video of the Secret Space, its PIN and its security question, and turns off PIN code only and Hide from menu. This can't be undone: export your Secret Space first.

The Secret Space tile stays in the Storage tab, so you can set up a new Secret Space. Your PikBackup exports aren't touched.
